Gripsert for popular parrs park walkway . . .
GRIPSERT WAS SELECTED FOr a series of bridges on the popular parrs park walkway.
Glen Eden's Parrs Park offers the community a combination of walking and cycleway tracks, childrens' playground and areas of native bush, wetland and stream. A Park upgrade by Council saw existing walkways extended through the Reserve. A series of bridges were also built over the streams running to Henderson Creek, providing public access via Titch Place and Tuck Nathan St.
The area is designed for most levels of fitness and mobility and a slip-resistant pedestrian surface was needed in line with safety requirements. Gripsert was chosen for the bridges following it's use on similar projects where durablity and slip-resistance were key concerns.
